Spring Grill Maintenance Tips
1. Remove all the cooking grids and burners and use a sturdy bristle brush to remove any residue on the inside of the oven. Use GrillPro biodegradable grill cleaner to make cleaning the inside of the cook box even easier.
2. Inspect the burners to make sure there are no holes rusted through. If there are, replace them with a universal fit Tube, H, or Bar burner. Also, clean out the venturi tubes using a venture brush. A selection of Weber and Barbecue Genius OEM parts are available for most Broil King models as well.
3. Examine the heat medium. If you have a heat plate that's rusted through, replace it with a universal adjustable heat plate.
4. Check to make sure the cooking grids are rust free and in tact. If not, you can easily replace them with a universal cooking grid.
5. Check the condition of your control knobs, handles, and thermometer to see if they need replacing. Replacing items like these can refresh the grill and make it look new again.
